What is needed to be a Support Congregation?

Instead, the Support Congregation is partnered with a Host Congregation and provides volunteers to help the Host Congregation during their host week.

A Support Congregation provides:

  • Volunteers – There should always be at least two volunteers present and generally not more than six at a time at the Host Congregation. All volunteers complete training and orientation before they begin serving. Volunteers can help with meal preparation, homework help, fellowship, etc.
  • A person(s) to serve as the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit volunteers for the Host week, attend scheduled meetings and act as the main contact for the congregation.
  • Financial Support
