Due to the Corona Virus the Camp Out to End Homelessness has been postponed.

This fun event must be postponed.

As with many other activities, this event has been postponed because we are unable to implement the required social distancing requirements.  We hope to host this event in the fall but, of course, we will assess the situation as our communities begin to open up again.  Please stick with us and we will keep you up to date!

What is Camp Out to End Homelessness?

Family Promise of Whatcom County hosts the Annual Camp Out to End Family Homelessness at Cornwall Church (4518 Northwest Drive, Bellingham). We pack 200 parking spots with car or tent-camping adventurers who want to raise funds and awareness about child and family homelessness in Whatcom County.

Friday family-friendly festivities include:

  • Games, skits and a s’mores bar
  • FUNdraising prizes awarded to individuals and camp teams
  • Singing around the “campfire”

Once the festivities end, event participants spend the night sleeping in their vehicles or tents.
